Norton Fitzwarren Arm

The lift raises boats to the original level of the canal and links into the historic alignment just to the north of the car park.  From here boaters and walkers enjoy a journey of approximately one mile to the terminus at Norton Fitzwarren where visitors may cross the Great Western Railway line to the Norton Fitzwarren end of the West Somerset Railway for another journey into history, that of the steam railway age.

The Norton Fitzwarren arm is landscaped to provide a range of family activities, making it an attraction for all visitors and a great day out for Tauntonians.
